Music therapy in Special Education

The teacher in music therapy in special education doesn’t use the music in order to help people to get musical knowledge or necessary skills for their education. In this case, the musical learning is less important than the adaptation or academic objectives.
Aspects of music therapy:
ü  The music is used to produce change
ü  It’s an open, experimental, interactive and evolutionary process.
ü  Contents are dynamic and they are created along the process
ü  The objectives are individuals and specifics.

ü  The evaluation considers the first valuation and it is done in accordance with the dynamic objectives that are established.
